The Panda update way back in April has reminded us all of the importance in websites offering high quality content in order to retain good positions in the SERPs for highly competitive key terms. But what exactly is high quality content? How often should you be publishing content? How many words are in a high quality article? These are all questions which are still relatively up for debate. But there are some common sense practices that you can put into place today in order to help you put together a robust content strategy for 2012
The above content is an extract from the original, which is here. To continue reading please visit The Importance of A 2012 Content Strategy.

So leave the outskirts of Sens in the drizzle sadly. I left about 5 to 8 after the usual 6:30 wake up call, stangly it wasn’t until i get to the first water stop that i realise that i left very first this morning.
So the day goes well, get to lunch nice and early, then end up leaving at the same time as some of the more skilled cyclists so off we go joining in the ‘pack’ , now this is a very formal way of riding. It’ll be best to Google it but in short, the rider on the right of the pack moves forward in front of the front rider on the left then the rider who was behind them moves forward to take up the front position. So you have a group of cyclists that is two wide and as many long as it could be… I feel that i did well and kept up with everyone and even enjoyed it, so that might be a good idea

So up way to early today, not even the usual silly o’clock of 6:30 like most days, but 5:30! But as the day starts with the 20 newbies to the trip i begin to realise why.
We start by convoying down to the Eiffel Tower, a quick photo while the sun is coming up then off we go following the orange arrows. Of course to the newbies it is new to keep an eye out for the arrows, eventhough there are a many of them which are very geared up for cycling so shouting of holes, left, right and general pack riding is second nature to them.
We then end the day just outside Sens in a strange Greek style hotel/motel but to be honest when your in the room for such a short space of time as long as its clean then it makes no never mind.

Day off today! And still im up at 8:15 ready to get the bag packed to take down to the van ready to be dropped off at the new hotel. The Pullman hotel was only a last day celebration hotel, we are off to the Campanile hotel in Gare du Nord for tonights sleep ready for a 6am wake up.
Although today is a day off i needed to sort the bike out so it was a good time to get the bits of mud guard off the rear wheel and take the full one off the front. Also gave me a chance to grease the chain, gears and stuff…
Sadly as i wright this I’ve not had time to get an afternoon nap but dinner is at 7 so im very much thinking that although there are now 20+ people that have just joined us ready to ride from Paris to Geneva think an early night is needed.

So day three went without much to report, i had been one of the last to leave the Holiday Inn Express in Arras but slowly plodded my was up to people. Had a chat with them and kept going.
That was until my puncture, that thankfully i had help to fix as i don’t have a pump…

So the morning starts with a 6am wake up call from the Ibis reception, get all our gear together then take the main bag to the truck and off to breakfast. Now sadly this being Europe and the trip being what it is… Not a sniff of a full English anywhere. Just the same moans and groans we heard last year about having no sleep and the person they were sharing with snoring.
The day itself went ok for me, had a little issue with the roads being very greasy because of the fine rain we had been having, the downhill’s meant i had a few moments of wheel wobble, that was until going down a nice long stretch go to take the racing line (well for a car anyway) of a staged crossroads, the back wheel just slides out from under me and before i know it im on my side in a ditch!
Bike was ok, i was ok just ripped saddle bag, punctured tube and a pulled muscle in my left leg.
So now onto the evening, its the first time that most people can really get together and get to know on another without being rained on or having stuff bananas down themselves so it was a great night lots of laughs, stories and Chi’ti, the local brew.

So sadly the battery didn’t last the full day so my plan of blogging this on the ferry was washed away so delayed post…
The day started off with a 5:30 wake up, getting all my gear together then heading off to Blackheath Common. We (Jon O’Brien (www.tinturl.com/sponsorJon) and I… And Janet & Oliver) arrived later than perhaps we should done, so still putting the bikes together at morning briefing, not to much of an issue but did mean that we were the last to leave.
So thankfully due to training, being used to city life on a bike and history with the route we get to morning break ahead of lots of people… Which was nice! (picture)
I will just give you a little background, we had learnt many lessons from last years trip but the only thing anyone doing this challenging trip with Discover Adventure ( http://www.discoveradventure.co.uk ) needs to remember is follow the orange arrows!
Ok, so the day went well few lost people as expected but we did have some spot on fish and chips before the very delayed ferry crossing.

So after getting a large cut in my rear tyre yesterday it was time to do something about the tyres…
So after a lot of thought and review reading, it was time to get myself some puncture proof tyres.
